New Horizons Concert Series at Chapman University presents pianist Nadia Shpachenko in her Grammy-winning program, The Poetry of Places, including Harold's In Full Sail as well as works by Vera Ivanova, Amy Beth Kirsten, Hannah Lash, Jim Matheson, Lew Spratlan, and Jack Van Zandt.

Harold's 2016 Piano Quartet is played by Artistic Director Lila Brown and her colleagues at Music from Salem, a few hours north of New York City or west of Boston.

Harold's setting of the Wallace Stevens poem Variations on a Summer Day, for mezzo-soprano and nine players, returns to Tanglewood. It was performed there in 2016.

Pianist Sara Laimon, with the Boston Modern Orchestra Project conducted by Gil Rose, give the premiere performance of Harold's Piano Concerto, at New England Conservatory's Jordan Hall.

Harold's setting of James Dickey's poem, The Heaven of Animals, gets a premiere performance at Los Angeles Opera, by AMOC's countertenor Anthony Roth Costanzo and tenor Paul Appleby, part of the American Modern Opera Company's Veils of Desire program.

Harold is awarded the Edward T. Cone Fellowship for a residency at the Bogliasco Foundation near Genoa, Italy.
